The R&D and Training Hub at fivefold studios provides a dedicated space for hands-on training, workflow testing and technical development, supporting the skills and practices needed for advanced media production.
Alongside training, the hub supports fivefold’s ongoing R&D activities within Virtual Production, convergence technologies and new approaches to content production.

The Hub supports pre-production as a dedicated test environment before moving onto the main shoot. With the space already configured for Virtual Production workflows, we can test content, validate colour and image pipeline, assess playback needs, review camera integration and identify any technical considerations ahead of time.
This helps reduce risk and uncertainty, giving departments greater confidence in the chosen approach, and allows creative and technical decisions to be refined before production begins.
Beyond training and testing, the Hub provides a practical production space for commercial work, giving brands and agencies access to Virtual Production tools for smaller-scale shoots, content campaigns and proof-of-concept projects.
